Heat Press Instruction

Household irons are Not recommended.  

Cotton

  • Prepress the garment for 5 seconds to remove any possible moisture.
  • Place the transfer in the desired location.
  • Press at 300 -310 Fahrenheit for 10-12 seconds with medium to firm pressure.
  • Remove the garment from the press and let it sit for a few seconds, then peel warm or leave it for later and peel cold.
  • Put parchment paper (recommended) or a finishing sheet (optional) over the garment and press again for 10 seconds. it is an important step in transferring DTF on any type of garment.

Polyester 

  • %100 Polyester doesn’t require a prepress unless you need to remove wrinkles.
  • Set the temperature between 280-290 and press for 8-10 seconds at medium pressure.
  • Remove the garment from the press and let it sit for a few seconds, then peel warm or leave it for later and peel cold.
  • Peel and press again for 8-10 seconds.

Nylon

  • 260-270 for 8-10 seconds medium pressure.
  • Remove the garment from the press and let it sit for a few seconds, then peel warm or leave it for later and peel cold.
  • Second press 5-8 seconds.

Important:

  • Follow the garment manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • The temperature and press time depend on your heat press machine, the type, and thickness of the garment, and your work environment. Always test and find the best combination of parameters before application.
  • Please inspect the transfer before applying it to any garments.
  • DECO TRANSFER IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO GARMENTS DURING THE APPLICATION.
  • Wait 24 hours before stretching or the first wash.
  • Machine wash with mild detergent.
  • Wash inside out, medium circle, cold or 30 degrees.
  • Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
  • Dry on low.
